Clayton’s Family Butchers are a traditional, family-run butchers and caterers based in the centre of Potton, Bedfordshire and have been since the early 1900s. We specialise in high-quality, free-range, ethically reared British meat at competitive prices.

We know that the quality of the food for you and your family is hugely important, so we only source the best.

Claytons is still run by the relatives of George Clayton, with the fifth-generation, great-great-grandson, Harley, working in the shop full-time as well. Since the new team took over the business in 2019, they’ve worked hard to add their own style to such a historical retailer with recyclable and sustainable packaging, computerised till systems and new products all while still keeping the same warm welcome and helpful advice that our customers have come to expect.
